We had an incredible value for our money with the best view in Ella from the terrace. The rooms were spacious, tidy, and cozy. The location was perfect, walkable to everything but still quiet. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, answering all our questions and making us feel welcomed. A definite recommendation for a few days' stay!
More breakfast choices would have made it even better.

I had an exceptional stay at Welcome Homestay. The location was perfect, close to the main street but still peaceful. Every morning, I woke up to a beautiful view of Ella Rock, which made breakfast on the terrace even more enjoyable. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I was even picked up from the train station, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this homestay for a wonderful experience in Ella.
While the room was comfortable, it did get quite hot at night despite the cool breeze outside. It would've been nice to have a window to let in some fresh air.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely homestay in Ella. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They even helped me arrange a driver for my trip to Uda Wallawe National Park in the early morning. The breakfast they served was delicious and filling, and the room was clean and spacious. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking. Despite some minor drawbacks, like a bit of noise from neighboring guests and a steep hill to access the property, I highly recommend Welcome Homestay. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Superb breakfast and comfortable beds. Located on a quiet hill, but still within walking distance to the main road. The hot shower was a plus for us. the service and hospitality were great.
The morning prayer noise from nearby Buddhist temples was quite loud, starting at 5am. The sound of barking dogs at night was a bit disruptive.
